Phuket - our first stop on our island hopping adventure! So nice to see a beach and chill out for a few days after travelling lots the last two weeks.

Patong is very commercial, full of neon lights, ping pong shows and ladyboys! The prices are double of what they are up north and there are people everywhere trying to sell you everything. Pretty much standard for Thailand it seems.

We are staying in the best hostel so far in terms of cleanliness. We have stayed in some absolute belters, some that you would feel cleaner washing in a puddle than in their showers. Got a nice rash from one hostel - love a souvenir!

There is a lot more western food here and a real lack of good street food.
