Hello all! Hope you're all enjoying the festive fun. Thought we'd send home a little Crimbo message to you all and let you know we are well. Have spent the last two or so weeks far from cheap internet and payphones. Since picking up the camper van, we've driven up the coast, as far a placed called Byron Bay. From there, back into the hills heading down via the Hunter Vally wine reigion (hic) and Blue Mountains. Arrived yesterday back into Sydney, which is our home now for the next few weeks. We're in a lovely apartment right in the city centre and have all our presents and cards under our gold and glittery Christmas Tree decoration (thanks you Carly). Very excited for tomorrows fun, which will no doubt begin at approx 5.15am, though Gary refuses to get up much before 9... BORING. So, anyway, today (Xmas Eve) we went food shopping for our Xmas Day BBQ (Gary is still getting over the food bill, but incredibly happy with his mint choic chip breakfast ice cream...) which will be spent with friends at Palm Beach. We are all stocked up on beer and wine, so should be an interesting day. Boxing Day will be a little more traditional, when we attempt our first roast dinner...... oh my!

Anyway, enough about us. Hope you all have an awesome few days. We'll be thinking of you lots. A little tough being so far from home (heartless Gary is finding it a breeze...his words) but is a fun adventure nevertheless. Call us on the landline here if you get a chance, don't worry about the time difference! Have lots of fun and we will make sure Santa makes his way to you after us. I'm leaving out Port and carrots - Gary says he hates carrots but I hope they'll be gone in the morning.
