Day 17, 4th February Got the bus from Phnom Penh to our second stopped Siem Reap today another 6 hour bus trip, shocker.... this time it seemed to take longer as the driver seemed to stop every half hour to let people on and off including a monk! It's funny every now and again you see monks on the backs of motorbike taxi's (i'm sure there's a punch line there somewhere...) Again we weren't dropped off to the centre so we had to get a tuk tuk as normal things do...

Day 15, 2nd February Our first proper day in Cambodia today so decided went for a wonder and to see what Phnom Penh has to offer we grabbed some breakfast along the river...american pancakes with syrup mmmm yum! Day 11, 29th January Woke up at 6am this morning as booked on the sleeping bus for Saigon (HCMC) at 7:30. Had our free brekkie and were waiting patiently in the hotel lobby.....as you can imagine the buses here are never really on time and at 9am had still not arrived we had been discussing yesterday how much a flight would be instead since it only takes an hour to fly instead of the 22-26 hours on the bus. Day 9, 27th January Arrived in Hoi An and decided that we were extremley tired after all the buses and the the lack of hot water so we booked into a hotel called the Grasslands having an indoor swimming pool, guarnteed long use of hot water and at $15 per night thought it was very reasonable and just the luxury we needed.
