Ok so after 4 days in Nha Trang (sunbathing and going on 1 boat trip) we made our way down to Mui Ne. Mui Ne was pretty uneventful, we stayed in a beach side room where the bus dropped us off which was cheap (but full of mosquitoes...HUGE ones!!) Enjoyed a few more days sunbathing, the beach was very nice and much quieter than in Nha Trang, although I spied a jelly fish in the sea which put me off swimming a bit!! So...didn't go to Sapa! On our last day in Hanoi all the trips to Ha Long Bay were cancelled because of a typhoon (lucky we'd already been!) and we heard the weather was going to be bad in Sapa so decided we'd just head South to Hue. Turned out to be a wise decision but will get to that in a mo! We left Vang Vien on the 14th which took about 3 hours.. There isnt a whole lot to do in Vientiane apart from drinking..and having spent a week in Vang Vien that was the last thing we wanted to do!
