Hello everyone. We finally made it to Melbourne after 23 hours travelling. It was eventful, particularly with the tight security they had over this weekend. Claire got off scott free, but I unfortunately was searched and then my bag was searched for chemical explosives and any weapons of mass destruction I may have been hiding in there.
We are at a great hostel which has everything we would need to start our travel. Unfortunately it is early morning here and neither me or Claire can sleep!
We shall update you with pictures and adventures soon, as we are off exploring Melbourne tomorrow on the free tram. We've discovered an aquarium and famous markets which we're debating over visiting and we're particularly interested in what 'Batman Park' is and whether Bruce Wayne lives there.
