Had a lie in and then a wander round the town, stopping for the biggest sandwich in the world for lunch. We then chilled out for the rest of the day before meeting up with one of the couples from last night.

Dave again made sure we were nice and early to the airport for our flight to Laos - exactly 3 hours early so we couldnt even check in. Siem Reap airport was small and quiet but really nice and it was a little annoying having to spend $50 just to leave the country, whenn we had oinly just paid $0 to get in a week ago! Did nothing apart from get really hot. It was so hot today! We spent about an hour uploading the photos until there was a power cut which turned off all the fans and we got hotter. Walked round the market for a bit but it was too hot so we went back. Had some tea whilst being hot. Got some cocktails with Briege and Layne and said our goodbyes as we go to Laos tomorrow where it hopefully won't be as hot. Its's too hot.

Another early morning so we could go round the temples of Angkor before it got to busy and hot. Our first stop was the Angkor Wat - Cambodia's most famous landmark! Its the largest religious building in the world, built for king about 800 years ago. Considering it's age it's still in very good condition and was quite an impressive sight! Checked out of the hotel for our bus to Siem Reap. We were the only westerners on apart from one other bloke. The journey wasn't too bad and we had a staring competetion with a baby for most of the 6 hour journey. The one thing of interest, was when stopping at a rest station, Dave, thinking he was cool or in a movie by using his pen knife to eat his pineapple managed to slice his thumb off causing a lot of blood from Dave and a lot of laughter from Claire.
