This morning we were accused of not paying for the stay last night by then man on reception of our hotel. We explained that it wasn't the 25th like he thought, and that it was impossible to have stayed the night of the 24th as it hadn't even happened yet. Caught the bus over to Vientiane this morning and thankfully it was only a 3 and half hour journey - not the 7-8 hours that we're now used too!
