Spent the day lounging round the pool sharing and reading a Dan Brown book ( a chapter each at a time). Escaped the heat in our air-con room about 4ish before going out for tea and sitting at the bar chatting to the locals.

Went to draw some money out this morning for our daily allowance where we then found that Dave had thoughtfully remembered not to take the card back from the machine, when we were in Phi Phi...oops. We left our illuminous yellow cell this morning to get some breakfast before our boat ride to Ko Lanta. Had a bit of a lie in this morning before setting off on our trip to 'The Beach'- it's the photo above, but in the movie the gap is blocked off. Up nice and early for our dive! Casper the friendly Danish diving instructor took us out. Our first dive was was our 'deep dive' which took us to 30 metres, we did this because its our first step to becoming an advanced diver, and it will allow us to dive to 30 metres from now on when we go dving.
