This morning we left Frank in a car park chilling out with some friends, whilst we went to the harbour to meet for the boat trip to the Whitsundays. Everybody seemed our age and nice people so that was a relief, part of us were worried that it might be full of the idiots that seem to spend so much time on the East Coast of Australia. Another chilled out morning by the ice pool, where Dave lost miserably at a game of tennis with a guy we've met here. This was then followed by a sports afternoon playing table tennis, badminton, basketball and the best bit, a giant jumping pillow! Apart from all the kids we had to avoid standing on, it was pretty good fun - definately thinking about having one in our back garden anyway! Due to a screaming child in a nearby tent from 3am onwards we didn't get much sleep last night! Charlotte slept through it though in the car! Relaxed by the ice pool for the morning and had a quick look in the town to sort our tickets out for the boat. We had a game of mini golf where David clinched the victory on the very last hole securing the extra sausage we had for tea! We had a quiet night in the park having our bbq and playing cards.

Again, back in the car off up to Airlie Beach. Only 3 hours away, with a detour at Eungella National Park, so it wasnt too bad. Woke up with a banging headache this morning - not a good start to the day with a 7 hour drive up the Sarina Stretch ahead of us...it was so unbelievably boring!
