Up really early to say our final goodbyes and thank you's to Jonas, before we set off back to Sydney. We dropped the van off where we got the pleasure of seeing the cow that served us when we first picked it up. Fortunately she didnt serve us.
We then caught the train to Strathfield, an Asian town in the suburbs of Sydney where Andrew then came and picked us up. We then went and collected Ai who had got us some amazing lunch from the Vietnamese quarter. To start was pure sugar can juice, followed by green waffles and then pork and veg rolls - very very tasty!
As we drove up into the Blue Mountains we passed quaint little English looking towns- all that were needed were cobbles! Before we landed at our hotel, who's Andrew's family friend owns. It was a mansion with huge log fires, massive arm chairs and absolute breath taking views of the Megalong Valley. It was like being smack back in the middle of the lake district. We then took a drive out into the mountains, to Echo Point which overlooks the continuous vast mountain ranges far into the distance.
After treating ourselves to freshly baked belgian waffles covered in melted chocolate we opened the wine and made use of the fabulous hotel!
