The supposed advantages of night buses are you get to sleep for all the journey without wasting daytime hours and you dont have to watch the suicidal bus drivers play chicken with your lives, you arrive at your destination early in the morning getting a full day feeling great and best of all you save on a night's acommodation.

At 5o'clock this morning we were in Mersing harbour, tired from getting hardly any sleep because of all the swerving and slamming on from the suicidal bus driver. We were then told that we had arrived 4 hours early for our 7.30 ferry which was now departing at 9am.

By 12pm we were checked into a little hut on Tioman Island and wasting most of the sunshine and afternoon having a much needed kip! We did save about 6quid from the accomodation thanks to the night bus. Woo!

Late afternoon we went down to the beach and swam in the clearest waters we have ever come across and then booked onto an Advanced Diver Course.
