Up nice and early, to get to the travel agents where we were the only 2 people to be put on a minibus and then taken on a 2 hour journey to the city of Saturn. Here we were introduced to another man and put into a taxi where we would be for the next hour or so listening to the Scorpions being played at full blast!

Eventually we got to the port, and whist waiting for our boat to Langkawi Island we got chatting to a guy from Scotland called Lyndsey! He was hilariously funny and we soon found out that him and his brother were in the middle of filming a TV series for E4 called 101 challenges (to be aired in January next year) - they have to do 101 challenges around Asia, which have been voted in by the public. So far they've eaten cockroaches and maggots in Thailand, bunjee jumped in kilts in Laos, had a Muay Thai Boxing fight with a professional girl boxer, held a 101 person conga on the great wall of china...

After the ferry we eventually arrived in Malaysia! We shared a taxi with Lyndsey and checked into a motel. Not guesthouses anymore! We then went out for some food, (Malaysian food is a cross between Thai, Chinese and Indian, delicious!!) before going down to the bars on the beach for some drinks, where we then for some unknown reason had a lengthy discussion about gravity. Why we dont fall off the earth is still beyond Claire!!
