Another fairly standard week at uni i.e. trying not to skip too many lectures was made better by the fact that we've just completed plans to go on a road trip for the second week of the holidays. On Tuesday I had my first taste of raclette thanks to YO. I didn't actually know what it was either before I had it so Wikipedia'd it; it's basically where you melt cheese and put it on things like potatoes and ham etc. It comes from the verb 'racler' which means 'to scrape', as normally you heat a big lump of cheese and scrape off the melted bit. It's been a while since I wrote a blog, which would imply that I've been really busy doing fun things. Sadly, this isn't really the case. From Monday until Thursday at 14h I have 22 hours of classes to fit in. Which I've worked out is basically the same as school, but in 3.5 days. This is not what I signed up for. So I've been back in Montpellier for about a week and a half now; and after the initial sadness of having to leave everyone I'm now enjoying the good life again. Well, I say that, but there are several things that displease me at the moment. Firstly, several friends have left; either to complete their second semester in Italy/Spain etc or to return home. After a day of (a bit of) revision LA and I decided to explore a new out of town club, La Villa Rouge. MISTAKE. When we arrived at about half past 12 there was a fairly large queue outside which we thought looked promising.
