Cindy Aserkoff's Travels
Today was an off day in den Bosch. We started the day with an underground canal ride under the city. visited St John cathedral and then St James cathedral which was dedicated to Hieronymus Bosch. An artist from the 1400s who painted very different paintings depicting good vs evil in a Dali-esque manner. We then strolled the city through the Saturday market of every kind of food. We bought a cheese wheel and some candy from a penny candy store. Lunch was excellent topped off with a specialty of the region, a Bosch ballee, pastry shell with whipped cream topped with chocalate
