Today was a travel day to Vientiane, the capital of Laos. We left luang Pranang where there are no traffic lights to here which is very city like. Our hotel is in the center of town. We did a short walk around to a park. We were treated to a banana and egg crepe which was very good. dinner was in the hotel. A few of us had had enough of the healthy diet with fruit for dessert. So we walked to swensons, a California ice cream place for dessert. Swensons is right next door to a pizza hut. Weird to be in Laos eating ice cream with all Laotian people. Tomorrow morning we will walk around the town a md then have the afternoon and dinner to ourselves.
