Today was an extremely emotional morning. We visited one of the killing fields from from the Khmer rouge, pol pot regime. Our guide had personal experience from her mother who was forced to evacuate pnom penh. The atrocities we heard about left us all in tears. The hopelessness and and the inability to understand how one human being could do such things to another human being just makes you feel awful. No detail here about what we heard.
