The last couple days have been very uneventful and relaxed. A bit of a theme is developing here...luckily it's not going to last long.
My Spanish lessons were moved to 11:30 and I got a new teacher, Lis, for my last 2 Spanish lessons. We've mostly been focused on the past imperfect tense - so basically how you say things that happened regularly in the past as opposed to happened once/were one event. It's a lot more fun to talk in this tense, mostly because -ar verbs end in -aba and -aban e.g. they spoke is hablaban which is very easily mispronounced as hablablablablablabla...blan.
Last night we had tacos and went to a bar-restaurant thing called Magick. Today I watched lots of youtube videos about travelling India. As you can see, clutching at straws to see what I can put in here. Still, with Spanish lessons over, I can make my final three days in Bolivia count. I'm going to try get some Peruvian money tomorrow and hopefully go to the cemetery, and given it's not in La Paz's most savoury neighbourhood, hopefully I won't end up staying there...
All this being said, it has been great just to, at least physically, chill for a few days. My second drafts for the articles have been critiqued by Caroline and now the Fiesta de Moxos one will be edited by weed times editor Matthew Grace currently in Paraguay, and my animal conservation article will be edited by Juancho Fajardo, a journalist based in Caracas, Venezuela - who I'm planning on skype calling next tuesday from Lima, Peru. Very international!
Anyway,
Vamos!
