Started the morning with a walk to Smugglers Cove which is a 10 minute walk from our house. The cove was stunning - clear crystal water and isolated.... We both had a swim and then walked back to the house to get ready for the wedding.
We booked a cab to pick us up at 1pm to take us to the Botanical Gardens where the wedding took place. It was a warm day and quite humid.
The ceremony was personal and intimate. After the ceremony we were picked up in a local bus and after being driven around the local town of Road Town - with the horns tooting all the way- we arrived at the local ferry dock to be ferried across to an island called Peter's Island where the reception was held. After about a half hour trip we arrived on the island to be greeted by waiters serving local coconuts filled with straight white rum!!!!
Wow.....
The island was stunning a magnificent setting for a wedding. The food was great as was the company and the entertainment for the night.
We actually watched the moon rise over the horizon and it only took 2 minutes for it to rise - absolutely beautiful!!
We were picked up by boat at midnight then met by a bus and driven back to our accommodation - it was quite a day!!!
Lizzie looked stunning and Brett was on his best behaviour - they looked a great couple.
Upon returning to our house we were a bit hot and bothered so I decided to get changed and put my feet in the pool to cool down.
Unfortunately for me, I stumbled on the first of the two steps and fell in the pool fully clothed - including having my phone in my pocket.... After the laughter died down from those who witnessed this event I removed the phone from my pocket however at this point in time it does not seem to want to work - hopefully it will dry out over the next couple of days and it can return to normal.
