Hi guys, just to let you know that i've left the heticness of saigon and gone to chilled out, layed back Dalat. This place is so different to where i've been to before on my trip. All i've seen before this is cities and beaches, and now i'm in Dalat where there is forests, lakes and waterfalls all over the place. The first day i was here i decided to hire a mountain bike for the day and see what i could of the city and it's surroundings. It took me all of about 10 minutes to get hopelessly lost! damn those lonley planet maps!! But getting lost turned out to be quite good, i managed to stumble across a huge lake, some gardens, a very nice golf course and a couple of pagodas. The weather here is different to what i'm used to as well. On my mamoth 6 hour bike ride i managed to get soaked by the rain miles away from my guesthouse and now i have a cold! yes that's right, i've managed to catch a cold in vietnam!! I'm only here for a couple of days because it's very quiet, next to nothing to do in the evenings, and then i'm of to Nha Trang and the beach to get ride of this damn cold!
