Long day with walk from clovelly with rain and then onto hartland point and then quay. Incredible views and strong winds on sections but good sun and also refreshments half way along. Now for the next section to bude and back to London.

Well start of the three day walk along path south west coastal. This section westward ho to clovelly. Approx 7 hours walking at steady pace up hills and down with a mixture of cliff walks and wooded forest. Demanding at times but ok without absolute exhaustion. Hardest part is really the wet sleet type stones which are slippery especially when climbing down from above .

Clovelly start of the walk for three days... Should be challenging but good. Village been here for 2500 year but over the last 150 years basically in hands if two families with preservation of the way of life and integrating in with tourists ... No cars allowed and sledges bring in the luggage. Costs for visiting the village are ard $12 so pays for itself!
