Got across the border pretty easily! Took about an hour the whole thing. They separated us, and questioned us about where we were going, what we were up to, looked quickly at our stuff (not even through it) and then let us go! Amazing! We were a bit scared given that the people that went through before us had the border guards going through each piece of clothing they owned. Even unrolling their underwear! Wow. Like gross.
So off we went through north Dakota. Didn't even do a geocache. Stopped in a modular home ( trailer park) sales lot for dinner, with the magnificent view of the Minot freeway i95.
Then we made our way to grand forks, nd for the night. Everything was still damp from the night before, but it was still cozy. And we were sooooo tired.
