Got to mendora. Pretty pretend cowboy like- fake old wood signs type of place. Lots of good hiking and biking trails though. Decided to rent a few mountain bikes and do an eleven mile loop. Well we made it about 3 miles in and had to turn around. It was all uphill and the elevation, heat and dry air was just too much. 40 degrees today and I've never experienced elevation or dry dry air like here. Enter city slicker remark. Stopped to see painted canyon. It was pretty touristy and not really that amazing. Off to mendora.

Up at 8. Heading to the outlaw trail to spend the day hiking in the American side, then the afternoon on the Canadian side of the trail. Plan is to get near oyen to sleep tonight.

Quick stop for dinner. Steak potatoes and veggies. Three hours of driving left for today.

North Dakota geocache. Quick gas up and got our geocache for the state. Looks like no walmarts near where we want to go in Montana. So we'll be staying just east in ND still. Easy driving today, the roads were pretty flat so the truck did well pulling the trailer.
