Mon 7th Feb We arrived in Chicago at 3.30pm American time, weather was very miserable and cold. the hotel was fabulous, overlooking the river and 30 floors up. We had a walk in the city, had a meal and went to bed at 9pm. Tues 8th Our body clocks were way out so we were up and out for 7.30am having a stroll around in the snow showers. I couldn't believe my eyes when I spotted a Racoon wandering about near the main road, my heart was in my mouth in case it got ran over but he was very streetwise and only crossed at the lights. We left Chicago at 1.35pm and had a 4hr flight to Phoenix and then changed planes to San Francisco another 2hrs, so it was a very long and exhausting day.
