Gday,

So this weekend has been incredibly hot, something I'm sure no-one at home wants to hear :) but anyway........

So Netti headed off Friday to Geelong for a day at the beach (hard life!) and I came down after work. We went out for a meal with the same Paul & Elise from the Christmas blog. So after a pizza and a walk around the seafront area the conversation turned towards swimming!

We clambered down the outside of a jetty, then next thing anyone knows, Paul has jumped into the harbour and is off swimming around the corner, all for a $50 bet with Elise! I however jumped in because the water looked inviting, and there's no chance of getting $50 out of Netti!! We lost Paul for about 5 minutes while I swam around then he showed up on the other pier in amongst all the couples and families strolling around!!

Turned out that we both looked like we'd wet ourselves when we put our clothes back on! Was an interesting walk back to their house past all the bars and restaurants!

Saturday was surfing day, or supposed to be! Again, the water too flat to surf so we had to be content with a day lounging around in the sea and drying off in the 35C sun. Had a great time and didn't burn (too much!) but it seems we are destined not to surf in Australia! We'll get there....

Caught the train home and vegged out in the relative cool of the apartment, today we make the British pilgrimage to Ramsey Street! Everybody.....Neighbours, everybody needs good neighbours, that's when good..........just me then?!
