Next day we headed north again towards the Foz Glacier, stopping of a couple of times on the way. First stop was the Blue Lakes which were actually pretty nice, got to climb over a massive suspension bridge which Brid hates, jumping up and down while we're both on it always amuses me. Another breakfast by the lake and we escaped just in time as the camping fee's boyo came round just as we were driving off. We headed to Cromwell, a small old gold mining town, there wasn't much to do except go pan handling, unluckily we didn't find any massive nuggets. We camped at a campsite about 6km outside Queenstown, beside a lake. No one was around collecting fee's so once again we decided not to bother paying. We didn't plan on doing much today but there is another Gondola and Luge thing in Queenstown and I wanted to kick Brids butt again. Had a long lie in this morning then went for a walk half way round the lake we camped beside. Headed up towards Te Anau to do the Doubtful Sound cruise as we couldn't be bothered driving up the Milford road and all the way back. Parked up at the car park and started to walk down the path to the beach to be greeted by a sign charging 2dollars to see the boulders, the one thing that annoys me most in the world is folk thinking they can charge people to see natural things, totally ignoring the sign we went down to beach and played on the boulders for a while.
