Today is mine and Shveta's last day in Paris before jetting off tomorrow morning.
We spent the day at Versailles. The weather was so incredibly beautiful and sunny which made the beauty of the palace grounds that much more spectacular.
We toured the palace and enjoyed the famous hall of mirrors and marveled at all the grand furniture and decorations. It's hard to believe that people actually lived here. The walls and floors are made of solid marble and every inch (from floor to ceiling) of every room is covered in art work.
We then headed down into the palace gardens which are so unbelievably beautiful and huge!! We had a picnic by the water which included the world famous laduree macarons for dessert and spent the afternoon wandering around and getting lost in the various gardens.
It was such a beautiful, great day and a wonderful end to this leg of the trip!!
