After arriving in Cape Town we stayed there for over a month for kitesurfing and sightseeing, before heading back to Europe (by airplane!). It also gave us time to look back at the amazing trip we have had, and also realize that we actually drove all the way from Paris to Cape Town! The border crossing to South Africa was probably the easiest on our way through Africa; efficient, fast and cost-free. We drove to the beautiful west-coast village of Paternoster and had a great camping right on the rocky beach.
