Arrived back in Melbourne at 3pm, Cat got me from the airport and we headed back to her work for a bit before heading home and getting the vino opened!!! It was so nice to be back. Friday night we headed to her mates for dinner and a few drinks and stayed. Saturday was a heatwave and it was unbearable!!!! We eventually ended up out in the spa on the vino, just for a change!!!!!! Iv been looking for jobs, sending my CV everywhere!!! Fingers crossed!!!!

Heading to the St Kilda festival today with Flick which will be a fab day. A fabby day had by all!!! Got the train to Melbourne in the rain!!! Although it cleared up later on. It was amazing, they had put out no stops for the day. There was everything you could think of market stalls, rides, bands the lot. We wandered around the stalls and picked up a few freebies!! Then we headed for some vino and people watched which was lovely, we enjoyed a gelato and then headed to watch Flicks favourite band. While walking along the road at one point I spotted the guy who came third in Australian Idol and was getting my cheaps!!!!!! Flick later topped that one and called me to say after I left she had seen the guy who won Australians next top model!!! Who may I say I adored and watched the programme every week while in Perth just because he was in it!!!! Needless to say I was devastated!!!! But such a fab day!! Defo having more days out with Flick. Were already planning our next vino sesh!!

Its been devastating here in Victoria over the last week. Last saturdaty with the really hot weather there was mega bushfires which everyone is aware of as its not been off the news!!! Everywhere you turn here theres reminders of the people who have lost their lives/homes etc!!! Cant seem to find any work I want to do and theres a cance of a great job at home so decided to head to Fiji and America and then back to sunny Scotland. Looking forward to seeing everyone, cant say im chuffed about leaving but its a great opportunity back home!! Been out today with Mr Simon and Cat, on the vino as always and feeling very drunk!!! Will be gutted saying bye to the Ritchie clan but will look forward to seeing them in October for the wedding!!!!A fabby day in the sun out in the spa, im getting so good nowadays NO HANGOVER!!!!! Started packing tonight, very sad!!!

Well its my last day in Oz im gutted to be heading on but obviously all good things must come to an end and its obviously meant to be that I go home, hopefully for this job!!!! Got the train to the city and went to Queen Victoria Market which was fab. On the train there was a guy with a plastic cup and a box of vino!!!! and folk slag off the UK haha. Going to have a few hours in the sun as its a beautiful day then get organised.

My last night in Melbourne was filled with vino, tears and more vino!!! Cat and Si sold a last peevy bender before I went, which I thought was a very good idea!! After a few vinos the conversation of me leaving started to flow and the tears came, why am I Miss Emotional. Had a fab time with the Ritchies and got myself some buds for life now, love them all loads. Roll on October for a reunion and our adventures to Loch Ness!!!!
