Koh Lanta is much more chilled out, like Koh Tao. On the night we arrived we found out that every hotel on the island was full and so had nowhere to stay! We travelled into Krabi from Koah Sok but after speaking to people there decided not to saty and to travel straight onto Koh Lanta, so arranged taxi/ferry for later on that day.

After Koh Samui we went onto koah sok national park. WE had already booked our accomodation at The Rainforest Resort, which was lovely resort run by a thai family. We stayed in a cabin up on stilts next to rainforest so spent whole time on look out for spiders, but we only had one which luckily they got rid of quickly! ko samui was much busier and commercial then koh tao, almost like being on holiday in magaluf or somewhere in some parts. All day you have people trying to sell you things and of an evening there are children out all night trying to sell you necklaces etc. some of them most only have been about 4 and had obviously been told to pretend to cry!
