We got the cruz del sol bus to paracas (thanks for the recommendation courts!) it was a luxury bus with reclining seats, lots of space and even wifi! Was a 3 hour trip so not too bad. Arrived to paracas, a tiny station and booked on a national park tour for half an hours time. The tour cost 35soles each, we got a mini van and a great tour guide. We went into the desert and learnt about fossils and formations. The coast line was beautiful with big cliff faces and clear water. We had lunch at a very touristy restaurant with mostly seafood (the big industry on this peninsula!). We then went back into town to our hostel. The lovely owner Antonio at paracas backpackers house was really helpful and nice and even gave us a room upgrade for our honeymoon! We had a walk around town, a small place on the coast with a little area along the beach with shops and restaurants. Ate at a restaurant which had a good tourists I. Always ask for a tourist menu!!! U Usually get an entree main and drink for 10-15 soles ($7) a lot cheaper than ordering off the normal menu!
