I'm observing healthcare staff, in particular midwives, in clinical practice & during debrief sessions for the multidisciplinary team. The aim is to understand more about debriefing for staff & how it can be implemented into our maternity services at the UHW, Cardiff.

I arrived yesterday evening and was picked up from the airport by my lovely mentor, Sigrun. We had a walk around the beautiful town of Stavanger and stopped for some dinner together along with her lovely daughter.

Today, I went for a long walk around some of the local lakes, and then spent the rest of the day exploring more of the town. I have an early start tomorrow so stay posted for daily updates
