Pokhara is a very small quiet town situated on a huge lake. There isn't much to do unless your a keen trekker so Chelsea, being a lazy arse, found it a little boring! We found most people were there afetr finishing a trek or just starting one. The weather was pretty crap, rain rain and more rain so we didn't even hire bikes to explore around the other side of the lake. This morning we met at 6 for a 3hour bus journey (on the worlds most pot-holed and stone covered dirt track!) to The Last Resort which is on a ridge right above the Bhote Kosi River. To reach the resort you must walk across a 160m suspension bridge which is used for bungee jumps! It looked absolutely terrifying, our legs went to jelly just walking over it! Today we made our 5 hour private bus journey to Kathmandu. First impressions were that everything is close together but not as hectic as some cities in India. We had an early breakfast then took a short walk down to the river. The group slpit into 2 groups (Chelsea, Brad, Zach, Vicki, maddie and our leader Praveen) and took an hour or so sailing down the river in a tiny canoe. We also toppled out several times! Today we said goodbye to India and Namaste Nepal!! We left at 5am for our 5hour jeep ride to the Nepal border. It too almost 10hours in total including the most ridiculous breakfast and service ever!
