Pokhara is a very small quiet town situated on a huge lake. There isn't much to do unless your a keen trekker so Chelsea, being a lazy arse, found it a little boring! We found most people were there afetr finishing a trek or just starting one. The weather was pretty crap, rain rain and more rain so we didn't even hire bikes to explore around the other side of the lake. We di dhowever hire a pedalo and went out on the lake for an hour on a rare sunny afternoon (it started to rain as we were coming in!!) The rest of our time was spent playing pool, having some drinks and reading on our balcony (shaded from the rain of course)

The bus journey to and from was ridiculous. Several untimed stops for snacks and toilet breaks. We even stopped at locals houses so the driver and other crew could collect their friut and veg and other crap! Arrved back in Kathmandu in the afternoon (over 7hours after departure) and checked into Hotel Buddha in Thamel.
