Well, the bus was full from Mission Beach to Magnetic Island..I hadn't actually booked for the next day, but a few of the others had, but still couldn't get on and the next Oz bus wasn't until a few days later.  None of us intended on staying more than 1nt there, so we got the Premier bus to Townsville where we met up with the guys on the Oz bus and got the ferry over to Magnetic Island with them.  I was only going to stay 1nt here, but it was so nice, that I stayed 3nts.  The hostel was right on the beach and it was a really chilled out place.  The afternoon we got there we went kayaking, which was good fun, until the waves were getting bigger and bigger & apparently we'd all gone out further than what we should have done, needless to say it took us forever to get back to the beach.  The following day, Me, Vicki, Yolanda and Sheri hired a mini moke and explored the island ...it didn't take us long!
