After missing my domestic flight from Sydney i arrived in Melbourne. I enjoyed it last time I was in Oz so wanted to make a point of coming back and I enjoyed it even more this time! I spent 8nts here in total. I took a trip along the Great Ocean Road which was fab, en route we visted a few bays, sheaok waterfall and walked through the rainforest. I also decided to take a helicopter over the 12 apostles which was great. It's a really sporty city - so decided to tour the Melbourne Cricket Ground and Telstra dome - home of Aussie football, cricket. Its the Aussie Rules football final tomorrow at the MCG and I imagine the City will have a great atmsophere, shame I won't be there! After having seen most of what i wanted to in the City I decided to take a tram to St Kilda which was supposed to be really nice - and i'm sure it is when the sun is shining - however when I got there I got soaked and nearly blown away....didn't stay down there that long!! As i'm sure every tourist does I visited Ramsay Street (home of neighbours...as if you didn't know!) The street is so small! Whilst we were there Dr Kennedy turned up so had my pic with him - he's actually quite nice! Then in the evening I did the "neighbours" night - i know you all think i'm sad, but it had to be done...and it was well worth it, it was such a good night....apart from my camera breaking - how gutted was I!! Toady, Jannel and Dylan were there (can't say I really knew who the last 2 were, but I still had my photos with them!) some of the girls are gonna email them to me. Later on that evening Dr K returned - with his band...The Waiting Room, have to say they were pretty good. On my last evening in Melbourne I met up with Rachel and her husband Leigh. I had a really nice evening and it was good to catch up with them. I was sad to leave Melbourne....but my trip continues!
