So today was a waiting game. I had to check out of my room at 10 as always and needed to catch the 4:16pm train from Katoomba to Sydney. So lots of time to kill. Small trail done, today was time for the bigger trail. I started earlier and walked down to the Scenic Railway, past the little information point there and walked west away from Katoomba. It took me about 2 and a half hours to get to the Ruined Castle. It was a great walk! The weather was much better than yesterday and the wind kept me cool. The path was much more technical than the previous one and therefore much less touristy which meant it was really peaceful....

Sitting in the beautiful sun by the beach, a coffee in hand and remains of a chocolate muffin around my mouth was simply the perfect way to start the day! It was gorgeous.
