Sitting in the beautiful sun by the beach, a coffee in hand and remains of a chocolate muffin around my mouth was simply the perfect way to start the day! It was gorgeous. People eating breakfast in cafes all around me, waves crashing and tourists trying to keep hold of their boards in the sea. Really felt like paradise.
A quick walk up the hill back to the hostel, but this time I resisted the ice cream. Gathered my stuff, prepared lunch and hopped on the train to Sydney.
Once in Sydney I had a short wait before getting on the next train to Katoomba. So lots of rail time, but I'm here now! I've even got myself a small bar of chocolate for Easter Sunday in the morning, but can't imagine me not having a few bites before bed with my book! This hostel is much nicer than the last. It's even quite homely, but the guests seam generally older than the last place which isn't all bad, the kitchen is clean for starters!
Tomorrow I'm back on the trail! There are a good few to do so I'm spoilt for choice. Thinking of start small and finishing big on my final day!... Will keep you posted!
