Last night in the UK. Shared tapas for dinner at Barragina and a piano concert at St Martins in the Field. Heading home tomorrow. It has been a wonderful holiday.

We had a day of learning with a 2 hour walking tour of Oxford and a visit to the Ashmolian Museum. I missed the Pitt, so there is a reason to go back. Maybe when I return in November. The day tours go into the oldest colleges including New College, founded in 1379, so it isn’t really that new. We learned about the history of the city and the university. We trained to London for lunch and the theater. “Home From Away” was fabulous. Loved the music and the story of how the people of Gander took in over 6000 people when all planes were grounded from US air space after 9/11. I would definitely see this again!

After a delightful fortnight with my dear friends in Grimsby, I’m taking the cross country train to Banbury and then on to High Wycombe. My finger is still buddy splinted and I’ve reduced the luggage to a smaller suitcase and my daypack. While In Grimsby we picked lots of vegetables and had them for dinner most nights.
