Today I ventured up the Dandegong mountain ranges with Vicky and her family. Luckily it was a nice warm day so even though we were in the mountains it was still really nice and warm =) We visited a park where the Roselles (pretty red and blue parrot-like birds) flock down when you arrive. A nice change from London's pigeons..!! We spent the rest of the morning looking round the gardens up the side of the mountains, and later visited a little village on the mounta...

Today was lovely and sunny and after a lie-in,we travelled on the train into Melbourne city centre and walked round the city in the sunshine. As it was Easter not much was open,but we wandered along by the Yarra, looked round some of the markets and sat listening to a jazz band. Later on we went for a chocolate in a bowl in the cafe Vicky works in,and went for a ride on the city central tram.I also booked myself onto the Neighbours tour for Tuesday...yey! Lots ...

Arrived in Melbourne at 6.15 this morning,but immigration took so long we didn't get to Michelle's house (where I'm staying in Melbourne) til past 8am.I even had to declare my Whethers Originals through quarantine!! I gave in to my tiredness and slept for the morning,but this afternoon ventured out the house with Vicky to Chapel Street and Greville Street. Very upmarket streets with lots of nice shops and cafes.And trams (see picture...) This evening we went out ...
