We left Koh Toa early in the morning to get the ferry over to Koh Samui and had to lug our bags round the whole town trying to find somewhere to stay. With a little sunburn on our shoulders the walk was horrendous! The first thought on Koh Samui was it was a bit strange and dead, not many tourists and looked like it was majority a locals town. All the tourists were either family or older than us and only a few our own age! We went out to the centre in the evening and again everyone out was either on stag-do's or 30th birthdays and Thai people, which we did have a laugh watching them dance! We were so tired we slept in half the day and only got a bit of a chance to see the beach and look round the town, unfortunately not being able to go snorkelling which were told was very good here.
