We had a early start of 4.30 to get a 7 hour train journey to Mumbai. Thankfully the train was air conditioned so we didn't all just melt to death but it was horrible as soon as you left the train as you were hit in the face with this horrible sticky heat. We got a double decker bus to Ahmedabad (the place where Ghandi spent most of his time). We stayed in the nicest hotel of the trip, there was air con, comfy beds but the shower was still in the centre of the toilet.
