Arriving in Bangkok and having to get a taxi from the airport was a mission, we did not realise Thai people understand absolutely nothing! We gave the name of our hotel and the taxi driver said he knew where it was but after about 10 minutes he decided to turn round and tell he had no clue where he was going! We met up with meg, Laura and Ella when we finally got to our hotel and they took us to a good place for lunch, rice again unfortunately which was nevertheless enjoyable. Later that night we went out on kohsan road and met more people from home. Seeing so many people we knew made it feel a bit like Magaluf rather than Bangkok but made the night so enjoyable! The next day we got the sky train and a boat and looke round Bangkok for a bit - it seemed so futuristic and different to anywhere we'd been! Landing ourselves in a hospital and Hannah getting a pass to all Thai hospitals was not what we expected to happen as she got bitten by a dog but it was an experience! Leaving Bangkok and getting on a sleeper train was horrible, the top bunk was freezing and the bottom like a sauna but at least we're in Koh Toa in the glorious heat now!
