Week 21- Australia (Whitsundays) Day 7
'On a Boat'
Today we boarded wings 3 ready for our 2 day Whitsundays boat adventure! We did the boring paperwork bit with Kate (dive instructor) before heading onto the boat and meeting our captain Tristan and our kitchen b**** Ollie (he calls himself that). We had pizza for lunch then we headed towards our first dive/snorkel stop Luncheon Bay. We all jumped in for a snorkel but it was bloody freezing and I had 2 wetsuits on! We saw loads of pretty fish and coral though. Once back on the boat we jumped in the hot tub to try and thaw us out a bit, then Olly served us afternoon tea and cake! We actually get fed 6 times a day on this boat....We then went to our second stop which was Tongue Bay which is where we settled for the night. Too cold to have another snorkel here! Served snacks before dinner whilst watching the sunset. Dinner was lovely and there was so much of it, Olly did a great job. We then watched a slide show of all of today's videos and pictures whilst having dessert! We also got a briefing of what we would be up to tomorrow. We had a few drinks before heading to bed. Great first day on the boat :).
