Ok... FYI I went to NYC in the middle of my Bethlehem trip...but I am keeping bethlehem as just one post instead of two separate ones.....So the Christmas city...
I get to my hotel at about 1 am :/
Hotel Bethlehem... So it was built in the 1920s and it's supposedly haunted which is the main reason why I booked it... unfortunately I did not see any ghosts :( I didn't even get anything thrown at me :( Totally ripped!!!
so anyway I slept... Then Samir came to meet me after he finished work!! So that was exciting!!! He of course is super nice!!!! That day we went to his house which is where my home was gonna be for the next week or so!!!
On the way we stopped at an old shopping center!! That has no stores there!! That was fun!! It kinda made me wanna do handstands!! The next night there was a surprise birthday party at Samirs house so we got stuff ready for that... we had drinks with alcholic whipped cream and it was pretty damn tasty!!!! Anyway... So Samir is now my boyfriend and basically since my update on this is pretty far behind i don't know what happened on which day... But as for Bethlehem...
We went to a music fest thing in Philly and saw Elbow and uggghhhhhhhh some band who I forget.. They start with S!!!! We also went to Philly and saw a play.. That was interesting... It was a three part thing... First we had to watch all these online videos... Then we had to download these podcasts and do a walking tour of Philly while watching more videos... Which led us to the play which was a secret location... Then we watched the play..
It was good... But weird... I still don't understand what happened :/
That night on the way back Samir threw up in an alley way because the burger he had was gross.. Eww! And also we lost the ticket to the valet :/
hmmm what else??? We went shoe shopping!! Omg what a drama!! Some guys are worse than chicks... Just sayin! I also nearly passed out in the grocery store due to being hungry!!
I went to a secret bar with Sam's friends while he was at work and got drunk :D ummm
We carved pumpkins!! Omg it was so fun!! And messy!!! We also roasted the seeds!! That was awesome!!!! So good!!! I saw more squirrels!! They are so damn cute!! I love them!!!
We also went to a punk show and saw NOFX!! Pretty much got our ribs broken...
Also here.. Maybe they do this everywhere but anyway they do this circle pit thing.. Basically the whole crowd runs in a circle.. Like a massive person whirlpool... I had no intention to partake in such events cos I knew I would probably just get cained... However.. Someone knocked my wallet out of my hand... OH f***! So I had to pick it up... Once I did that I got sucked in to the vortex of bodies and got passed around... However luckily after a short while of getting pummeled Annie saw me and pulled me out!! Annie is my hero of the year! Ooohhh We also went to a diner!!
I went to the old steel factory.. Which was boring!!! I had the worst luck!! I went one way to get there... Pedestrian bridge closed.... Had to go all the way back around and go over another bridge!!!! Then I got there and I have missed all the movies.. There are no concerts or anything on!! I did get to see an umbrella stuck through a cog though!! Dont see that every day!!!
The next night I attempted to go to south side which is supposedly cool.. All the galleries were closed except for one which was crap!!
My luck in Bethlehem generally fails and maybe sounds boring however I still had an awesome time hanging out with Sam and doin normal person things like grocery shopping and getting ready for parties and walking around with really nothin to see....
ohhh I also got to make s'mores!! I failed at that also!! :/ We went to the cemetery also... That was fun :D it was HUGE!!
And here is a fun fact!!! The Bethlehem steel place that I went to was where transformers 2 was filmed... Well some of it!!! Also... Bethlehem also has really cute lamp posts and cool old houses!!!
I will be back to Bethlehem In a month for another month!! It should of course be fantastic however it will be damn cold and I am not very excited about that!!!! :/
