Today we had a lady cone in with her baby, she expressed she had noticed her baby having side effects from her antipsychotic medication when breast feeding. Joyce wasn't around so Selina asked mine and Leanne's advice. We wasn't confident giving it so she waited for Joyce. Joyce advised her to go to the hospital to have the baby checked out. Had a good day today, learned a lot from Joyce. A patient came needing 25 mg of CPZ we had none left. So Joyce said give him 100 mg and told him to half it. The CPZ ( chlorpromazine) are sugar coated and not breakable. The patient will probably take the whole tablet ( but that's what it's like here ).
