Tonight before dinner our guides took us to the crater. It was such a breathing view you could see all the Kilimanjaro forest and in The distance you could see Kenya and Malaui landscape. We gazed at it for ages it was stunning. We walked around the crater then into the crater. That was an experience when Joni slipped down the hill. We saw some flowers which we thought was nice only to find out they were Dead ( this got us laughing and we laughed all the way bac...

This is the starting point, we started the trial about 1 ish. It was exciting to go through the starting point and know I was walking in the biggest mountain of Africa. It was better than I had expected and the weather was glorious. I have never walked on such a beautiful and natural trail before. Some parts were quite a climb and the steps were bigger than expected. Lots of rocks and wooded logs as steps. Really enjoyed walking this part

We walked for 1 1/2 hrs and stopped for lunch. We had a lovely lunchbox made by Marcus out cook. It contained samosa, cuc sandwich, banana, potato, egg, juice, cake, lot to eat but very tasty. We're we was sat there was monkeys swinging in the trees above ( wish one would have joined us that would have been nice). After food we carry on up another 1 1/2 hrs to camp.

This is me ready for bed, wrapped in my Kanga ( massai cloth) in my sleeping bag. It's only 8:30 pm but after a days climbing we need get some sleep. Dinner was lovely we had cucumber soup. fish with veg sauce ( really nice) potatoes and salad. When we got back it started to rain just hope it keeps dry tomorrow. The BBQ was so nice, witness and Suzanne had cooked up a storm again. We had goat kebabs, chicken and sausages. The homemade coleslaw was nice and the chilli dish was HOT!! After BBQ we sang happy birthday to Val and shared her birthday cake. After we helped wash up then said goodbyes to the housemates who were going to the club. Me and Simone giving the club a miss this week. Later we went to players for last wifi time before Killi. Had a good chat with Cary and...
