Saying good bye was sad, all the house mates were sad and tears were shed from staff. We had the best time ever and this trip will be remebered for ever. Good bye Work the world!!! The return bus journey from hell., personal space has gone out of the window for sure. If you've not got a crutch in your face its a stick or warrior knife poking you. People pushing to get on the bus. They even ride on top of the bus it's hilarious. At moment I have a young boy sat on my lap. Poor lad it's masungas knee or squashed stood up. Well we got stuck real stuck, every one got off the bus to help. We was told to stay on but we needed to get off and help. After getting off the guys managed to tie the bus with rope and pull the bus out of the mud and the river. Great feeling we was out of it. I thought maybe we would have had to sleep on that bus. Had a good day at the clinic. myself and Karen went tothe antinatal clinic, felt some lovely bumps (perfect bumps) and took BP's of the mamas. The bed was high and the mamas had to climb on it and it was hard. But the mamas were so excited that Muzungo touching their bellies. White people that is. Breakfast consisted of ginger donuts and cofee. After breaky we walked to the clinic and the best bit was walking through the river, (needed to cross this to get to work). The other side of the river was full of kiddies waiting for pee pee (sweeties) good job I had a big bag looked like cockroaches crawling out the woodwork that many of them.
