Breakfast consisted of ginger donuts and cofee. After breaky we walked to the clinic and the best bit was walking through the river, (needed to cross this to get to work). The other side of the river was full of kiddies waiting for pee pee (sweeties) good job I had a big bag looked like cockroaches crawling out the woodwork that many of them.

Arrived at the clinic and was introduced to the Dr and nurse. we helped put away supplies of medicine for the month. really limited supply of medicines.

Sat in with Dr Godfrey and helped out in his clinic, most patients were massai mamas with their cute cute babies.

We had a lady come to the clinic who was having an HIV test ( never seen one done before). we waited for the results and felt so relieved for her it was negative.

After work we walked home with King Lewis.

We all walked through the river but as Simone was injured she was struggling to get through. I offered to carry her but she chose Kiing Lewis instead (he has bigger muscles simone said haha ) Called in the local shack, bar for a coke and went back to our hotel haha ( mud hut !!).

I had an outside shower in the sun ( Ginger shampoo went down well). So well I ended up wasing Simones hair also. (cant wash hair with broken foot!!). The Leanne couldnt resist so she grabbed a bucket and used the rain water to wash her hai.

All refreshed and waiting for the momas to do their thing. Jewellery making and dancing what an evening. The warriors showed us their jumping dance and then we had to join in. Hillarious but so much fun.

Rice and meat (poss goat??) tomatoes were the best so nice think i eat the lot.

chatted for a while then sat and gazed at the stars and the lightning. what a storm!!! Night all x
