We have just done 2 long days of fruit picking. We got picked up at 5:30am this morning and got dropped off at 7:15pm. We did 10 hours picking in the heat today, it was about 24 degrees but its hot when you are out in it all day. After picking today we got taken to the winery that we have been picking for and they gave us a tour of the winery. We saw how the grapes are crushed and then fermented and stored before being bottled. We got to taste a few at different stages of the process and I think that the ones taht aren't ready tasted better than the finished ones, they are sweeter. We got to take a bottle home with us as well which was nice. It was looking like a good day until we got back and had a $52 fine on the car again!

Got a dat off tomorrow so we have booked on to a wine tour around the Barossa Valley. We go to 4 wineries throughout the day and get to taste different wines at each one. I think we may get a bit drunk tomorrow. Hopefully we will be able to put some pictures on the blog after tomorrow because we haven't done any for a while.
