We (me, lou and my dad) went scuba diving today but Lou had trouble with her ears again so just me and my dad went down. We did the forst bit of travelling with my parents on Fri and it was a really bad journey. We were told by someone else on the coach that the coach company was really dodgy and that they knew someone who had travelled with them before and they had some stuff stolen from their bags. My parents arrived on Tuesday, 6 hours late and so we spent most of the day at the airport waiting for them. We went round the temples (Grand Palace, reclining Buddha, standing Buddha, etc) on Wed. It was the Buddhist new year on Wed and there was a big festival going on, we were given a good luck boat to float down the river. We went on a Thai cooking course yesterday and learned how to cook loads of Thai dishes. They took us to a local market first to get all the fresh ingredients before we went to the cooking school. We could choose what we wanted to cook, 6 dishes each. I did Thai red currey and Lou did Thai green curry and then we did some soup, spring rolls, noodles and a dessert. We will have to try a few out when we get home but I bet they wont be as nice as the ones we did yes...

Today we had an english breakfast, first one since we have been away, it was delicious nice to have a change other than rice, noodles and more rice. We visited the tribal museum then headed off to the hilltribe village where we met the locals, saw where they lived and how they lived. My favourite was the long necked people, they cant take them off as there own muscles wont hold. Tommorrow we are going on a Thai cooking course, where we learn to cook 6 thai dishes...
